I am using a 12N5.5 (RD 350 Yamaha) in 3 out of 5 big twins,the other two dont have batteries.They seem to last about 2 years if you are careful with the water level.I am using 65A generators and Bosch regulators on all these. One of the guys I work with uses two of these stacked in his 64 FL and reports good results.I bought my batteries at a local aftermarket shop that specializes in jap bikes.I have been unable to find any 5.5s at any of the local Wally worlds.
