Timer wire route

#1

Post by mogman »

I hate to start another thread, I added this question to the 60 wire routing thread but no one responded.
Can someone look and describe the wire route for the timer wire to coil?
Thanks

Doesn't the dual point wire follow the same route as a single point? Behind
the tappet blocks, held in place by the clamp on the crankcase stud below the right rear base nut.

VPH-D You are correct! I did find a picture that showed it routed just as you described. I'm not sure how to start a K.B. on this subject, but I'm sure there would be allot of folks that could add info about wire routing.

on my 59 pan, the wire runs over the gen, along the left side of the engine just above the timeing hole/plug. along side with the speedo cable and up to the coil.
