Can Terminal Boards be Illiminated
I want to illiminate the boards on a chopper build.
I have some wiring diagrams from the forum and
they are very helpful. On this build there is not many
spaces available for mounting.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Sure, you can eliminate the front terminal board and either hard wire it or use a more modern terminal connector which can be hidden under the tank. Mine was hard wired which meant that to remove the handle bars, you had to cut wires. I just spent a bunch of time and money putting the front terminal board back where it was originally.

Yes , just bring every thing to the ign. switch, I had a 56 chop that way . You will have to be creative on securing the wires at the switch and you can make splice connections in some places to cut down on the amount of wires . make sure you use fuses or circuit breakers to protect the wiring and components.

LOL. Now that is funny... the first time I read this thread's title my poor old eyes thought is said "illuminated" too. I thought "Why would you want to illuminate their terminal boards...? So you could work on 'em in the dark???"Cotten wrote:Illuminating terminal boards is a great idea: Little LED trouble lamps!
