HORN I.D.

#1

Post by 4pans1man »

BOUGHT THIS AT THE MID-OHIO VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE DAYS ON FRIDAY. LOOKS LIKE A TWISTED VERSION OF A PANHEAD TRUMPET HORN. EVER SEEN ONE?

THANKS, TONY.

Tony,
Can't help you with the twisted horn, but thanks for the reminder about Vintage Days. In the past it seems like it always works out that Vintage Days and Wauseon end up scheduled on the same weekend. I'll take a ride down to Mid-Ohio tomorrow, supposed to be nice weather.

Tony----I have the same thing!--Its not off any HD I know of!--But The powerpak is what I got it for!--(can be made to work on stock set-up!.The 1 in the pic. thats Pitted Chrome with that tab on it is Aftermarket-(almost 100% sure!)--The other may be OEM horn--Dont know cause cant see it mixed-up among the others.--(Im sure you know what you have!).But that twisted bugle is not a OEM part!--(Its LOUD & does sound good!).--I used the power-pak off it to replace the oem one that was shot.It is 12VOLT.---Respectfully----RICHIE

It's an old automotive piggyback horn.
