#1

Post by vipersniper »

I a, wiring the timer on my 65 pan and I know the wire gets connected to the coil but what is the stock routing for the wire does it follow the generator wire across the front of the engine behind the pushrod covers and around the post or does it go in between the heads and back to the coil?
thanks guys

Across the front behind the tubes, up the seat post (held with a clip) and up to the coil.

Great... thankyou I will have to get myself one of thise clips, another question about the wire: does the wire go between the seat post and the rear cylinder then up the post to the coil (deosn't look to neat this way) or does it go on the battery side behind post and then up the post and wrap the post to the coil?
never thought a wire route would agrivate me, I just want it to be neat and some what in the factory placement vacinity.
thankyou again

does the wire go between the seat post and the rear cylinder then up the post to the coil or to the seat post and wrap around the post (battery side) and then to the top of the coil?
