Wiring Question

#1

Post by heath49036 »

I'm doing a bare minimum wiring on my custom 58 panhead (headlight, dash lights, tail/stop light). How would I wire the gen and oil lights on the dash so they work properly? Is there a wire that goes from the oil pump up to the dash? Do I run a wire from the gen up to the regulator or a wire from the gen terminal to the dash? Thanks

Use a stock generator harness, there are only three wires.

Yes, run a wire from the pressure switch to the oil light terminal in the dash.
