Hi,
Sorry for the probably dumb question, most of my time was spent tinkering with my EVOs.
I've got a 48 Pan bobber I bought a while back, just starting to have points\timing issues, I wanted to order an electronic ignition.
Can someone explain how to find the voltage using a meter?
thanks

Re: How to find voltage
With the meter on a scale showing at least 15V max just touch the black lead to a ground and the red lead to the hot side of the battery. The needle will tell you what you have. A 6V system will read just over 7 and a 12v just over 13. The number of caps on your battery will tell you too. 3 caps =6V, 6 caps=12V
