Gasket sets preference
I'm getting ready to order a complete engine gasket set for my 1964 FLH. 2 sets seem readily available in the catalogs as made in USA. Anyone with experience & comments about James or Cometic gaskets? Preferences? Thanks Jonathan

First choice for me is James Gaskets, But make sure you order for your correct year, & make SURE all holes line up, anytime you use new gaskets. Particularly the base gaskets.
I have used Cometic gaskets on new HD's w/no problems..

James Gasket sets are my first choice. Would suggest that you obtain the one with the blue teflon head gaskets as opposed to the set with FireRing head gaskets.
Cometic are also quality gaskets. After that it falls off pretty fast.
