What paint do you guys suggest for the black paint on the Linkert bodies? Ive heard some people heating the body up a little before and after painting??? Any other tips, pointers, or suggestions would also be appreciated.

Cotten- do you have a link for a description on your bowl floats?

I used semi gloss black from a spray can.
Palmer, page 252 has taping tips.
Has to be clean, no heat required if 70 or above.

Keith!

For black bodies, I use rattlecan VHT epoxy.
Although it is not absolutely fuel-proof, it it readily available from many sources for future touch-ups.

And sorry, I have no site of my own.
My floats are black round things, machined instead of molded. Please post me direct at liberty@npoint.net for specifics.

I appreciate your interest,

....Cotten
