stoping gas from leaking out

I have a 61 pan flh I can not stop the gas from leaking at the shut off rode i read somewere that if you use the carburater washer it will work the one that is on the bottom of the bowl it all ready screw my paint up any help Thank You

Yes, the copper crush washer used upon the Linkert bowlstem fits the petcock banjo fitting perfectly.

Of course, the seals could be made of a more modern material I bet.....
