does anyone know of alternative to the original grommet for 50-65 metal gas lines?
I guess what they sell now gets eaten by modern P4-gas.
I have a new line, nuts & grommets, and a leak.
It all came from Chuck.

Re: grommet for metal gas lines
did the OEM stuff have rubber grommets? I thought all the original stuff was 100% metal. I have used a few of the after market repop lines that came with the rubber sleeve on WL fuel lines and so far none of them are leaking, but its probably just a matter of time.

Re: grommet for metal gas lines
mike,
the later models do have them, sorta a mini version of the oil lines that come with the remote filter.
the ones i use are black with a green stripe painted on. they do not leak.... yet.

Re: grommet for metal gas lines
My stock 64 FL has given me problems several times with the fuel line rubber grommet/sleeve. Who supplies the non-leak type? Or maybe better yet is anyone selling new steel fuel lines that are all steel with no rubber sleeves?
