mikuni carb question

#1

Post by doc308 »

Anyone out there running a 38mm Mikuni on his panhead? If so, can you tell me the proper sized jets for this set-up. Also, I'm looking for the adaptor to bolt the Mikuni to the Linkert manifold.

Thanks.

Doc

I've got a few Mikunis sitting on the shelf, one is brand new in the box, and I'd be willing to trade the whole mess for a junk Linkert if that tells you anything.

that's all I know about Mikunis, not much help, sorry for being a smart ass but I had the same thoughts and dreams about big improvements when switching to a Mikuni, it never happened......

Flathead Six--let me know what prices you have on your Mikunis, when you get a chance. I did run a 38mm model on my old '49 and it ran very well.

Thanks.
