Gas proof adhesives
Any of you guys know what adhesives can take constant contact with gasoline? What was the stuff the factory put on Linkert float screw to lock it ?

Thanks for the anwers, I've used JB on the outside of carbs, like to seal seeping plugs but I wonder if it can take long term submersion in gas. I guess I could email JB and see what they say.

Common epoxy paint stripper (methylene chloride) will allow for J-BWeld removal.
There are many fine adhesives, but USA fuels have changed to where few survive, and there is no guarantee that even those may not fall prey to the next summer formulation. Even the 'quick-setting' variety of J-BWeld is not resistant, only the 'original'.
Any candidate adhesive should be tested in the worst fuel for as long as possible: At this time, Shell premium is damn close to alien spit.
