Hi guys, wish to retro fit my 58 duo for a 57 hydra but want to keep the juice rear brake drum; any experiment of this ??

I had to weld a tab on the lower frame to accommodate the backing plate. Other than that no problems.

Thanx 59, did you weld a small tab for the break line connection ?

Sorry for the tardy reply. No just for the mounting of the backing plate stud. The hydraulic line lays between the frame and the plate. good luck. mine works well especially since I put a wilwood front disc on as well.
