Correct routing brake switch harness

#1

Post by Gotnoclass »

Hello!
Can anyone tell what is the proper routing of the brake switch harness? I have it behind the inner primary, over the frame tube and behind the metal oil line. Is this correct? Also, which of the wires are held at the seat post tube clamp other than the CB to coil wire?

Thanks!!

Ran,

I'll have to look at the clamp. The routing looks correct, or the same as on my '60. Under the primary oiler/breather tube and one clamp holding the brake switch wires/loom on the down tube.

Hi Tony!
Thanks for the info and the pics! Can you tell if its on the right or left of the breather nipple? Also, down tube - do you mean the seat post tube?
Thanks!

Ran,

Right side of the nipple, across to the seat post, than 1 camp about an inch above the motor cases. Where the rear bolts mount the motor to the frame.
