There's something wrong here
No matter how many times I shake my head, I don't get it.

Re: There's something wrong here
And there was more than one Person that Wanted that "Muffin". GeeeeeeWhizz, I'd be in great shape if I had a few of those "Original Knuc" mufflers to sell. ebay... where else.
I watch a seat run out last week where the seller said "Original 1957". Since I started collecting solo seats recently, I'm about 99% sure the seat was a newer H-D seat but not a 1957. It brought 2x more $$$.

Re: There's something wrong here
ok, I know I'm a moderator and this is a family website so I'll appologize up front. But, I've just gotta ask WTF????
There are so many things wrong with that auction it would be stupid to try to list them all. First of all the starting price on that was $2500, that was more than enough to begin with. The other glaring thing that was wrong is that it isn't even original any more, yes its bent, and dented, and full of rust pits, but somebody tried to refinish it, it wouldn't even be appropriate on an original unretored bike. I'm sorry, but I'll say it again;l WTF????? $3840.00, is somebody nutz?

Re: There's something wrong here
I see the auction has ended but it doesn't say if it was sold. The whole thing is suspicious.

Re: There's something wrong here
Click on the Bid number (16), the Winning Bidder has "0" Feedback and he bid a total of three times, there was only Two bidders. Yesss, has a little smell to it. Lets see if the Seller runs it again.jdpan wrote:I see the auction has ended but it doesn't say if it was sold. The whole thing is suspicious.

Re: There's something wrong here
The auction looks legit to me. Those mufflers are definitely sought after. Nice piece.

Re: There's something wrong here
For you naysayers remember the seller has to pony up $384 in Ebay fees.
If it's a joke it's an expensive one.
