That pic in the gallery "1946 Dutch Road Assistance" is so cool. The boat for the side car. The Sherman tanks in the back ground. I'm guessing that the shot was taken after they were liberated. And then there's the mamas. "O" baby don't take the hair down. Let me live out my Heidi fantasy!

I like the one titled Muddy as well. It should be captioned "to hell with the Germans, next time we go in front of the tanks!"

John, your right after WW2 ended in 1945 they used all the truck's and bikes that where left after the troops went home
in 1946 the ANWB a dutch version off the AAA started a road assistance with seven WLC's with a Hollandia sidecar full with tools (have you seen the big hammer in the video ) the police and the army also used the H-D 45 my WLC is a retired police-bike also with a Hollandia sidecar
