Cad Plating, where to get it done?

#1

Post by Service-Guy »

I am rebuilding a Pan motor and need to find a shop that does Cad Plating. I'm looking for real Cad, not copy cad or zink. Any help?

I used S&H Chrome Plating & Powder Coating, 817 Madison Industrial Rd., Madison, TN 37115. Phone number is (615) 865-0100. Their website is http://www.s-hchrome.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. They did the chrome and cadmium plating for me when I restored by 64 FL and they did a great job.

We offer real cad plating for your restoration needs. Make sure your parts are as clean as you can get them. Bead blast is best, but even a soft wire brush works to get most of the gunk off. Dress the hex or slots on screws nut and bolts to remove any imperfections. If you are sending them in the mail or ups, lay them out and take a digital picture of them and send it to us or include it in the box. When we get them, we also take pictures before and after. We also offer Parkerizing and other restoration services.

That's good to know, I also have many parts for re-cadding and parkerizing. Cass, do you have any kind of pricing chart? PM me if you like...
