Back to Work on the Panhead

Last summer, I finally got my heads back from HeadHog. I also got my hands on some stock cylinders and had them bored and honed. I was just getting set up for an engine re-assembly, when I was offered a deployment to the fabulous land of Kosovo. Being a happy and dedicated member of the Canadian Military, I jumped all over that offer. I was gone from Sep 09 until 23 Jun 10. While I had a great time in Kosovo, and I was able to be active on this website, I was clearly not in a position to work on my bike.

But that's all over, I'm at home and on leave, and the project is back to life.

I'll post one picture here and I'll start a thread in projects.

It's "Flamboyant Metallic Green". Looks lighter in real life.

I think nitrocellulose lacquer and Testors model glue were almost the same.
