gas milage

#1

Post by jay »

Hey guys its me again, what kind of gas milage did the Harleys get back in 1951. I have a sporty tank approx. 1 1/2 to 2 gallons and I found out the hard way that I did not have enough gas to get to work this morning. It is a 51 pan/shovel with an SS super E shorty carb that so far seems to be running real nice thanks to the help from you guys.

Whoa, Dear Jay!...
Since none of your top end is '51 anyway, what would it tell you?

Jay!

Yes, I would hope your modern hardware should allow at least 35 on modern fuel.

Good luck,
