Very nice. It is a good feeling the first time you ride a new bike.

It is really beautiful. I'll bet you are looking for the tank shift and foot clutch setup. Congrats.

Thanks guys, a month or so ago when I was staring at a bare frame here a crankshaft there etc. I was not sure I was going to see this day, The only parts I did not disassemble were the wheels ( I am just about ready to send all the correct parts off to be laced for a different set) and the tranny I had Hacksaw in Corpus Christi go through that.
Kent, I'm not sure I could do the foot clutch thing, as you can see we are a little (ha ha)
Top heavy, I do have a VERY nice set of foot shift tanks but I am still waiting for that ship to come in so I can afford the restoration paint job!!!

Well that was an easy fix, the small braded wire that grounded the delco regulator around its isolation mount broke. Also I now understand why the modern petcock is called "instant reserve" holly cow it took a long time to "pick" up fuel. I have not been running the period tanks for long, it must have a pretty large reserve as I drove another 8 miles or so after hitting reserve and could only stuff 2.8 gallons in the tanks..
