WARNING

Post by Pan58 »

There are some sites in the net like http://www.oodle.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and http://www.PMTW-Global.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. oodle is advertising nice old bikes for nice prices and PMTW is the linked transportation company which should akt as third party for you. Like you should send the money to them, after you receive the bike, they should send the money to the seller. I thought lets test and called the number this PMTW has in the net. A private person took the phone, saying that already a lot called him about that. He said there are no bikes and no transport company with this name! You would never see neither money nor bike.

Just CRAZY!!!

I reported the site to the UK-Internet police. Probably it helps?

I don't know anything about PMTW, but their web site looks like they spent some money on it, which makes me think it might not be a scam outfit.
They're located in Portland, OR

12115 Se 82nd Avenue, Portland, Oregon
97086, United States

Here's an email address for them: office@pmtw-global.com

Their listed phone number is not a US number - possibly it's in Finland or Norway, a couple of countries that their web site names as warehouse locations.
Phone: 5 038 052 684
Monday-Friday: 08:00 - 17:00

I wonder if their phone number is missing a digit??

Yeah this is happening loads in England, people selling really nice bikes and cars, they don't exist in the end and they are getting people to deposit them etc etc to take them off sale and then of course they never hear from them again.

It is a US number. It's just the way they write it looks different. The number in Portland looks like this: 503 805 2684. I called this number and a privat person answered but not PMTW!

It's odd, I don't think the site is a scam, but I think plenty of scammers are using the site

Yea--Unfortunately the hackers & scamers TROLL everything from vitamins to motorcycles!--The PC is the hottest & easy form of crime to commit!/No wonder there are so many of them.& they know how to hide thier Ip address from FEDs!.The real good ones NEVER get caught ,unless someone rats them out for reward cash. Then they usually end-up giving them jobs as Finding scams & how to catch another!---Thats why I never use a credit card--I get a PREPAID VISA CARD when I have the final cost & Discard it as soon as I place an order.Alot of scams are from NIGERIA//BRAZIL/& USA!---Richie

George, would be interessting what you will find out there. The only thing I saw in Google Streetview is a sign on the streetside "Mortorcycle Warehouse".

In the mean time the internet site "www.pmtw-global.com" is removed from the web. Probably my reporting helped. It was a nice try. But the site "oodle.com" still exists with this suspicious advertisings of "easy starting, nice running ,matching belly numbers, 98% original parts...Knuckleheads" for about 12,000 to 18,000...
