Finishes

Hi, I am beating my brain out trying to figure out what finishes the bolts and washers are supposed to be on my 1957. I have looked in the Palmer book and can't find it. I found a nice chart with the sizes and all, but nothing on finishes. Does anybody know if they are supposed to be parkerized or cadmium? Thanks

All depends where they go. You have a combination of park, cad and painted hardware on your bike.
Best answers can be found at Mr. Palmers book. I strongly recommend you get yourself a copy.
