Hi folks,
I'm confused at the figures quoted for production numbers in 1963.
FLH's were only a hundred or so made?
FLHF were there over a thousand made?
And what's the difference between a FLH and FLHF? I believe the last F in FLHF is for foot change.
Appreciate all information.
Regards,
Rob. D.

Hi Panhead.
Yes I've seen that and that's why I'm confused.
So FLH numbers for 1963 are 100.

The "Legend Begins" shows 4300 Big Twins in 63. 2200 of these being FLH models. These numbers are estimates and not to be taken as completely accurate. 63 was the lowest production year of any Panhead.

If your 63 FLH is a HAND shift model, then you have one of the rare 100!
