57 Back on the road. Bought a new shovel in 1980. Just for kicks I wanted to ride the Pan again. New tires, brakes, pipes, front end, clutch, cables etc. Linkert overhaul, speedo overhaul. Raked the neck back in the day, I think it still looks cool but I'm thinking about it's next life. It was a former Mass State Police bike, I have a lot, not all, of the original stuff. I think I'm going send the frame to Wasco to restore the neck. In the meantime, I'm enjoying it as is. Thanks to all the knowledge on this site that made the job so much fun. Never could have found the supplies and service without it. The speedo and Linkert service would have been impossible for me to obtain without everyones feedback.
