Trying to ID this seat
It looks stock but it's missing the front seat mounting plate but is does have a threaded hole. I'm assuming there was some type of block used to space it out. Also the two studs protruding out of the seat pan. They're through the seat. I assuming to mount accessories of some type. The skirt appears to be plastic. Anyone ever seen this seat before? Let me know.

Re: Trying to ID this seat
That is an aftermarket seat sold to fit a standard BMW seat tee from '55-'69, a fairly popular conversion in the '60s. The studs and front hole are stock, the threaded inserts in the rear have been added.

Re: Trying to ID this seat
Thanks for the response. I just wanted to point out that the stubs aren't welded in place but pass through the seat pan making me believe the seat was constructed that way.

Re: Trying to ID this seat
Posting for posterity: Looks like there may be (a) a date code stamp on the white sticker (e.g., possibly a capital letter M centered on the top line and 3 8[#] centered on the bottom line?), (b) stamps in the binding (e.g., possible patent, date code, and other stamps), and (c) the remains of one (1) or more yellow ink stamps on the shell.
