64 pan unless you are a top of the line tig welder, don’t even attempt it. If you weld it on the out side you will wreak your heads and it looks like shit. Send them out to have it done. These guys sleeve the port and weld it from the inside. I’ve coined these guys the micro-welders. The avarge cost is about $135.00 clams per head. First choice Don Sulivan at Head Hog but there are several people around the country that provide this service. There is a guy in Maryland that also does excellent work but I can seem to find him in my rolodex. I’m sure the membership here can point you in the right direction. The photo is of the rear head on my 48 that Don did. You would never know it was ever touched. Bob L

Uh, I know you said you can't find the guy's number, but ANY info on this guy (shop name, approximate location, ANYTHING) would be appreciated. Just found a couple small cracks in one of my heads just above the insert and between the fins. Was going to just let it rock for the season, but since the heads are off if I can get them fixed that would be ideal...

Kuda there is a guy somewhere near Bethesda Phil Daluka (sp) machines out the cracks and fills them. Probably not in the book, has a home machine shop or does them after hours at work. Another guy in poolsville Bob Ray may do them, but knows people who do them for sure.

Kuda I can't find the info. The name starts with an A and sounds greek. PanPal if you my have an idea? I'm going to post it on the AMCA forum and see if I get an answer. Bob

Kuda, I was on the AMCA site and someone was asking for recommendations for a motor mount repair and guess who popped up. Here's your guy. Bob L
