1991 EVO loosing oil

#1

Post by neilw »

I put new rocker cover gaskets on my rear cylinder , because I had pinched one while working on it a week or so ago. It had ran fine after I put a tappet in, and quicky push rods in . I went for a 60 mile ride and it ran fine .. I noticed oil leaking from the back rocker cover, and replaced them without touching the push rods . Today after finishing the3 rocker gaskets ,and doing the brakes I went for a ride to the end of the block and back , as I entered the garage I noticed a trail of oil just starting . It ran only about 5 minutes . After investigating , I see the oil is pouring out the breather . I started the bike up for a look and lost close to half a liter , it even leaked after I shut it off like it was under pressure , but maybe not. I didn't touch anything except change rocker gaskets , before that it had no leaks . I don't know where to start looking .
Any help will be appreciated .
