Vendor Document "Complete"

#1

Post by panhead »

As suggested by ozwick86 there now is an overview of parts and services offered by several vendors. It is still work in progress (and will be). Just click the selection you want to see, fill in additional info if necessary.
You can find the overview here: https://www.hydra-glide.net/kb/products.php

Yes you can enter an OEM number, but you also have to tick the box on the left of ' By part number'

Wow! Panhead, this has got to be a huge task to basically maintain a database of multiple vendor's parts offerings. I hope you've given each vendor access to maintain their own list!

Panhead,

Would it be possible to add a "Rating Button" and a "Fitment Button" for "Aftermarket" parts purchased when a NOS OEM part is not available? This would be really helpful for folks looking to purchase a part from all the vendors in the database. What about adding prices as well? Would this be OK?

Thanks,

Mark,

Prices is a bit more difficult, it would cost me a lot of time to maintain these.

Thanks,
Might as well add a "Install Part for Me" button, too.....!

Panhead,

Yes, you always hear someone saying that "that part from so and so had to be manipulated in some way to fit" This would help others evaluate who they would like to purchase a part from based on the rating of the user and the part they purchased. Is there a way to tally the ratings by vendor/part? Boy, you got me going now! This should be all unless someone else has any input.

Thanks!
