Post by panhead55 »

hello. can anyone post a pic of a correct panhead dash base with all the correct hardware and wires? im attempting to redo the wiring for my bike. i have the correct harness and a dash with old sockets and cloth wires. i guess that will work. any tips are appreciated.

go get yourself some old fashioned friction tape (ace hardware sells it) and when you push the loom through the dash base you can wrap tape on the very end of the loom. this prevents it from falling back through the base and prevents the wires from being cut.

if you look closely at daves second photo you can see it right from the factory.

the run to the generator is taped to the frame with friction tape as well.
