DASH RUBBER TRIM

#1

Post by 1951 adam »

I orderd a replacement dash trim from a good source, and I find it to be very thick. I had to shim my dash to fit it up. Every photo I can find shows the early 2 light dash trim to be a smaller type molding, I dont think the part number changed in the 60s , Palmers book shows a 3 light dash photo with the thicker trim, all the early 2 light photos show the smaller trim....I had the thinner type on my dash, but wanted to replace it with a new one...my dash was set to it, ....any Ideas on this?

I think you are asking about the rubber gasket.
Where did yours come from?
How do these compare?
