Inexperience showing question, and I hate sounding dumb:
Can someone post a picture of the correct grip for a 1964 FLH? My Palmers just doesn't show that.
Also I have some incorrect grips on the correct bars, how does the old grip come off of the spirals? Also, how do the replacements go on? Do I just have to break loose the 45 years old glue?
Thanks in advance.

64Duo!
Not a dumb question at all.
'64s were very often blessed with ribbed vinyl grips, with the MoCo name on them.
In the parts book the drawing shows them with an exaggerated taper.

PS: One way to remove grips is to shove a dull icepick between them and the bar as much as possible to allow WD-40 or other penetrant to attack the glue.
The pick can them be 'walked' carefully around the bar until free.
Soaking in mineral spirits expands the grips off easily, but they will shrink drastically for months afterward" Not preferred for good grips!
