BUDDY SEAT
I HAVE NEVER HAD A BUDDY SEAT BEFORE,I JUST BOUGHT A 62 FL WITH ONE ON HER IT HAS HELPER SPRINGS,I LIKE THE SEAT BUT ONE THING IS BOTHERING ME THE FRONT OF THE SEAT IS REALLY CLOSE TO THE GAS TANKS[WHICH WILL RUB ON PAINT],IS THERE ANY CURE FOR THAT?I SEE SOME PICTURES THEY LOOK CLOSE ON OTHER BIKES BUT THE MAJORITY LOOK UP HIGHER,WAS WONDERING IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OUT?THANKS,TM

The only cure for it my dad and grandpa found over the years was another seat. At 6'4" I generally go that route so that 2 up riding with my wife or son is easier on my back, etc.

You may be able to put 2 spacers 1 on each stud between the bracket and seat where it bolts to the front of your seat. Then you can add a spacer to the front of the bracket between the seat Tee and the bracket.

An OEM front buddy seat bracket should angle up from the t-bar to the seat. Did somebody flatten it out to lower seat height? Maybe the bracket isn't OEM? Just ideas.
