Got a buddy seat, bet it's an easy guess from where, lol
now, the questions.
Anybody with recommendations for recovering? Got a price from a local auto seat guy of $400 in vinyl, $700 in leather. thought that was WAY out of whack.
gonna try a local furniture reupholster in the next few days. I really can't imagine it's more then an hours work plus the material. It's a buddy seat in near perfect condition. No foam work needed nor covering if I was willing to stay with white. I wanna do a black distressed leather
originally was the seat in leather? (1954 FL)
thanks!

Al!
I wouldn't doubt that it takes an hour alone just to get the piping right; a rushed job would look like a washrag.
You are going to find most saddlemakers turn their noses up at vinyl, which many original Pan buddy seats were, of course. Perhaps Wayne at
Heather's Leathers, L.L.C.
943 Enon Church rd, Clover SC 29710. email sales@heathersleathers.com Ph. #803-222-3452
has entered that market.
Good luck,
....Cotten
PS: That is some other "Cotton's" custom seat on his website!
