Re: correct seats for duo-glides
The 1960 model year introduction material has a number of photos and drawings of the seat.
It uses a different combination of metal jewels than the seat up through 1959.
The 1960 model year introduction is available through the AMCA Website store.

COTTON,
SPOKE WITH MOTHER, YESTERDAY. SHE REMINDED ME THAT HER RIDERS CAP WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO ME, NOT YOU. SO HAND IT OVER. AND FATHER SENDS HIS LOVE. YOU ALWAYS WERE THE FAVORITE!

PS: Tony!
What's the significance of Evel's walking stick?
Did he need it?

"Mom" is wearing what were my favorite gloves. They were HD items always in stock until made in USA gloves seem to have been replaced by imports. Someone swiped mine years ago, after Harley stopped carrying them. Had a stiff gauntlet that easily fit over jacket sleeves. Maybe someone can find them in an old accessory catalogue.

I've heard Evil broke just about every bone in his body at one time or another, I'm sure the cane was useful. I personally broke a few bones as a kid riding dirt bikes and those injuries do have an effect as I get older and I'm only 58 (not the speed ball any more)...Mike4pans1man wrote:COTTON

Mike!
I heard that too, and I don't even pay attention.
If not pure vanity, I would have suspected it was some honor or trophy. Like in the olden days, when canes were often commemorative.
They'll come back in style, I'll bet. Mine's a livestock prod.
Back to seats, I would love to see something accurate about different vinyl issues, as leather seems to all the "pros" want to be serious about.

PS: I believe Giuliari (or however you spell it) supplied the MOCO for Aermacchi (or however you spell it) models.
