Is the 51900-30 or the 51900-36 the correct
Seat tee for my 63flh? What is the difference,
and will the correct tee work with solo or buddy seat?
Thanks, Blaine...

Re: Correct seat Tee
I can't remember off the top of my head if there is a tee later than 36, but your seat tee will have the grease fitting on the bottom whereas the earlier ones had it on the top.

Re: Correct seat Tee
From what i've gathered, the bolt hole changed
from 5/16" to 3/8" in 65 and way back they put
the grease fitting on the bottom. Would i be
correct to assume that there is no difference in the
tee for the solo or buddy seat?
I've tryed searching this site and others but there
isn't much discussion on the topic.
Thanks, Blaine...

Re: Correct seat Tee
Blaine,
The tee is the same for both seats. There are several differences in the main forging of the tee over the years. Are you restoring to correct or just trying to be close?

Re: Correct seat Tee
Robbie,
Just trying to be close, as long as it fits on
without grinding, bending, welding, or fabricating.
Not that i can't, but i just want to bolt it on, like
It's suppose to. Is there any difference in a 45 tee,
and the panhead tee's?
When they say "big twin", does that include side
valve, knuckle, and pansheads?
From what i've read, i think they are all the same,
but when mounted on a 45 the pogo attachs to the
other(front?) hole on the bottom of the tee.
Thanks, Blaine...
