Left tank fitting thread repair
Left tank fitting thread repair
Does anyone know if a thread chaser or a special tap is available for the repair of the threads on the bottom of the left tank at the feul supply fitting?

Hi:- Did you ever get a reply or help on the left tank thread proble? I cant see any replies, maybe doing something wrong here but I do have some info on it. Maybe your all fixed up by now. its such a late reply isnt it?.....

Yes, I did get my tank threads all fixed back in 06. To my surprize, a local bike shop had the special Harley alignment tool and it sure did the job well. running good these day. Thank you very much for contacting me anyway, late dont matter, all responses are apreciated late or not....Joe
