Front Chain Guard Cover Gasket Question

Do I put any gasket sealer on the gasket in the primary tin cover to innner primary? I can't find anything in any manual, but since they just run oil out the bottom anyway, I can't see why you would use a gasket sealer.

The cork doesn't always like to stay put for assembly, so glueing it into the cover makes future maintenance a lot easier.

I usually grease the inner so the cork will come back off intact.

What type of glue do you use or recommend? I don't want to use something that is near impossible to get out when it comes time to replace the gasket.
