Tool Box and Mount

#1

Post by 51Hog »

Is this the correct tool box for the mount on this frame?
Is it right for a 51 FL?
I had it mounted, and vibrations fatigued the box parallel to the doubler that is up against the mount.
The lid is without ribs.
Thanks

It will fit any big twin but is not correct for 51. 58-64 is smooth cover. Bob

Thanks for the reply Robert.
My rear fender is drilled for the spacer. I think I will drill the box after welding the crack that runs full length of the doubler and install the spacer. Maybe it won't crack again.
