Getting ready to put my inner primary on my ‘65 Panhead. Since there’s no gasket between the inner primary and engine, what do you guys use??

Re: Inner primary
Not sure is is even needed but I used a very thin coating of high temp red silicone on my '65.

Re: Inner primary
Put a VERY THIN coat of CLEAR RTV Silicone on the mating surfaces and bolt together. Wipe off any excess that squeezes out. We ARE talking about the ALUMINUM inner primary. No movement or wear to either engine, primary or tranmission cases (unless you forget to tighten the bolts & nuts!). Doc
