1959 rear fender

#1

Post by Trogg »

Hi guys
My rear fender has been shortened by a few inches at the front. Not sure why. But could anyone let me know how near the fender is to the swinging arm. I have the correct oil tank mounting plate bracket. Does it tuck behind that or not? A picture would be good if anyone has one. I can then get my metal man to stitch a bit on.
Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul, I'm not sure if you have the info you require as yet, I have just spent the last week or so fitting the rear end on my 59.
Let me know if you still need the measurement and I will take some pics for you.

Thanks for the offer. I found a guy local to me with a spare fender that I can copy. It seems to be from a 65 bike but I can get the measurements I need from it.
Cheers
