1956 flh buffalo police colour

Can anyone help with with colour on 56 flh buffalo police department I am told it was originally black and silver but what combination , black tanks silver guards or vica verca anyone shed any light on the subject or have any photos , I am in the process of purchase and it's all black at the moment thanks Dave

In 56 Harley offered police bikes in either silver or white.
Police could special order but there was a charge for this, the vast majority were silver or white.
