My new (old) Panhead frame

#1

Post by BDub »

I just bought this '55 Panhead frame which obviously needs lot of work. The neck area will be cut out and a replaced with a new neck. I've got a new backbone section and top motor mount to install as well. Stock dimensions will be maintained. I also bought a completely rebuilt '49 Panhead motor with STD cases. I'll keep y'all updated as I move forward...can't wait to get started! BTW, check out the extra set of handlebars the previous owner welded on for his son. I hate to have to cut them off! :)

Bdub!

The intact sidecar eyes make it look very worthwhile; The added brackets look pretty superficial as well.

Framework can be fun!
