Bryan!
The tool box was discontinued after '64.
Any installation would be totally "custom", requiring drilling and tapping of the frame.

Re: 65 Pan tool box bracket
I run a solo seat so no passengers,I mounted 2 oval shaped tool box,s where my rear pegs would mount on the frame.
I just drilled the box,s so no frame mods required.Hope this helps.

Bryan!
The bottom of the two arrows in this pic is a hole that is not tapped upon '65s. The top arrow shows a 1/4"-20 hole that was used for a rubber mount to the battery/oiltank assembly.
Only if you remove the original battery and oiltank will you be able to fit a toolbox in this position, without hitting it with the kicker.

Re: 65 Pan tool box bracket
I had to mount it in this vertical position..I know I said on the passenger peg mount but It was early and I commented on my old bike ,My 65 I mounted it in two spots, the 1/4-20 rubber mount for the battery tray and then lower mount hole for the crash bar as well well ,thats wher my crash bar bolts up.Made a little bracket that comes off the crashbar mount to the back of the tool box.
