I need a new or a good used swing arm for a 1958 FLH.......so has any body got any ideas as where i could purchase one or have one for sale?....i found one at JP Cycles and maybe i could get a better price by asking around here?
I have one thats twisted due to.....one sides adjustable spring was set lowest it would GO and the other side was set the highest it would GO "while riding double" !......that's was what twisted the swing arm....OH can they be safely straightened ?
I's not a even close to stock 58 FLH....and i would even consider the 73 FLH UP.....square model But it requires different shocks and a Disc brake set UP...so thats out of the question!
Thanks to each one that helps me.....I appreciate you all.

I've got a complete 73 and up square swingarm set up, with wheel, tire, caliper, shocks, etc if you would be interested in swapping. PM me if so.

In the right hands, the swingarm can be safely straightened. I wouldn't be afraid of it.

MCM!
A very large press is required for straightening, but only to hold it stationary upon a v-block.
The legs are then blocked and jacked between the press's horizontal frame members, if it is large enough.
This allows long rods to be inserted through the pin bore and axle slots for inspection.
Legs can be 'moved' with scissors jacks, "porta-power", etc., for vertical alignment,
and side-to side adjustments achieved with a large length of threaded rod, nuts, and washers.
Mostly, they require patience, and carefull observation.
