Does anyone have a photo showing the proper mounting of one of these stands?
I found a very nice one in Luxenburg, and it came in this weekends mail.
Looked in the gallery, and looked in the parts and maintenace manual, but not getting a clear pic in my head.

OK...
I study and study parts books & manuals ... photos..ect,
If I understand it correctly,
Its mounting is used also with the mounting for the exaust pipe brackets? And that being the reason that the bolts are different sizes?
Thanks for bearing with me on the stupid questions.

Re: Center Stand Mounting..
Yes George, they mount through the casting with the same bolt locations as the muffler supports. It was actually covered on here fairly recently as I recall. Just be aware that the center stand was not a very popular option when new because they drag on corners and reduce the ground clearance. They seem to be quite popular now with folks wanting all the accessories on their bikes. From a practicality standpoint they are marginal at best. With stock Hydra-Glide forks they drag, with longer forks they are not tall enough to work properly!

And is there a trick to get the bike up on the center stand? I tried it once and gave up homer simpson style.....
