I'm running one, but if I didn't say anything about it, you couldn't tell just from looking!

This is a Primo/Rivera Pro Clutch. It's one of the options. And as Bob L mentioned... very pricey.

THE scorpion clutch is that a diaphram set-up? I know there very expensive like $500+--but I told a customer I would find out more info on them!---Also / CASH & OZWICK are your dia. clutches loud when you pull the lever in? The reason Im asking is my cust. is looking at the SCORPION CLUTCH, & all feedback was great EXCEPT for ALOT of noise when holding in the lever!---For all I know this Scorpion might not be a Diaphram clutch!--Thank-you ---RICHIE 8)

You cannot hear it with the motor running. I also run the 8mm belt enclosed. I would have to say this is one of the best improvements/investments I have done besides having the Linkert rebuilt by Cotten his durable float.

If you want a virtually silent clutch with no chatter, checkout the belt drive in my photo above. The motor pully and clutch basket are made of Polyurethane! It deadens all the chatter that is common with dry clutchs when they are used in belt drives with aluminum pullies. All that noise comes from the aluminum/steel clutch baskets because they transmit the rattling sound from the clutch steels.

When I was first shown this belt drive, I was skeptical. I thought "plastic pullies... BS!" LOL But the late Phil Ross convinced me to try it and now I'm sold. I've put 90K miles on this belt drive and there is less wear on the pully teeth then I have on the 8mm Primo belt drive pullies that I only put 10K miles on. When Phil passed away a couple years back, his wife and brother took over the daily operations of SuperMax Belt Drives. They are the only company out there making Polyurethane belt drives.

I run a plastic/urathane/composition sort of rear wheel sprocket on a disc set up. It's got a bazillion miles on it, and wears better than any other sprocket I have ever used. My only complaint is you can't get em anymore....bosheff

Boesheff, are you talking about a sprocket driven by a chain or a belt driven sprocket?

Mark,

The clutch is available from any number of sources. Your local Indy could order it for you. Or if you prefer on-line, search for "Rivera PC-1000A". That should find a number of sources for purchasing via the internet.
