Post by partshunt »

Hi anyone. I need to know if the 35713-36T countershaft gear replaces the original number 35700-36 gear. Both are 15 and 17 tooth countershaft gears. Also, what does the "T" designate at the end?...thanks...Joe

The T designates "Taiwan", the source of that new gear! and as far as the number goes I can't find that 35713 number in any old parts books.

It seems the old number may be superceeded by 35713-36 as this number is not in my old parts book either. However, it is shown in the V-Twin listing and thier part number for 35713-36 is VT# 17-0200, (36-76 4-spd) 15-17 tooth. V-Twin does not show the old number listed in my 48-57 book, 35700-36. Also 15-17 tooth. I just wonder tho if it means we need to update other gears to match, like as example third gear or what....Joe
