A B&H shifter is an aftermarket unit to change a tank shift to foot shift. It uses a mousetrap similar to H-D's and was marketed after WWII.

Thats a first for me , learn some thing new every day . Never saw one of those or did & didn't pay attenion to it. Do they work good ?

pretty cool, a lot of people posted about this. they do work well. i didnt get mine adjusted yet so im running the (mousetrap) part of the B&H and the ratchet top and stock shifter. when i get the nerve i will tear the bike down and change out my tranny top ad hook up the entire assembly. ill post some pics here soon.
