I'm either not drinking enough Scotch or I lost more brain cells than I thought! I can't get this kicker shit figured out!
I have pulled the starter clutch and gear . The spring and bushing appear to be fine.Starter gear moves freely on the bushing when reinstalled.Put everyting back together as per manual. Install kick cover as per manual..I am pulling the kicker arm back slightly to the left as i install to get the crank gear pin to clear the back stop plate. Adjust clutch, select first gear, pull in clutch, rotate rear wheel and the kicker starts to go down in the kick direction. W.T.F.!
I have done this at least 10 times!!! what the fuck am I doing wrong! Haggis.
Where's the Tylenol.
Kicker part

Re: Kicker part
I dunno,
But I'm certain that you should have to pull the kickarm through at least 90* or more of its travel before the pawl on the kickgear will allow the throwout bearing assembly to slip into place.
